PURPOSE:To perform the rim driving of a take-up reel securely through simple constitution by arranging a rim for rotating the reel, a spring bearing which is arranged facing the rim and is turned together with the rim in one body, and a compression spring between the rim and the spring bearing. CONSTITUTION:The rim driving part consists of the rim 28, the spring bearing 29, and the compression spring 27, which is inserted and held between the rim 28 and the spring bearing 29. A cassette is loaded at a tape leading-out position and the take-up reel 20 of the cassette a buts on the head of the rim 28 as shown in a figure (b); if the rim 28 and the reel 20 do not engage each other properly, the rim 28 is pressed toward the spring bearing 29, but is to return to its original position (figure a) by the elastic force of the spring 27. When the rim 28 is rotated by a motor in said state, the reel 20 a butting on the head of the rim 28 meshes the rim 28 easily as shown in the figure (a) because the head of the reel 20 is tapered. In this case, the restitutive force by the spring 27 is so set that the cassette does not shift from the specified position. |
