PURPOSE:To enable the wide and stepless adjustment of the tread of a front wheel, by dividing the front wheel into an inner and an outer portions and coupling them to each other by screws. CONSTITUTION:A front wheel axle 14, which is supported by an outer gear case 4, comprises an inner portion 23 and an outer portion 22 which are secured on each other by screws 23a, 22a and a lock nut 28. Torque is transmitted to the outer portion 22 of the axle 14 through a spline shaft 29 coupled to the inner portion 23. When the lock nut 28 is loosened and the spline shaft 29 is removed, the inner and the outer axle portions 23, 22 can be turned relative to each other to easily adjust the tread. |
