PURPOSE:To enable speed-up without using a high speed part by constituting a time switch only by a time division multiplex system and performing writing and reading alternately using two sets of a speech memory and a holding memory. CONSTITUTION:Suppose that when making a telephone call from a telephone A to a telephone B, 0-th time slot is alloted to a sender and first time slot TS is alloted to a receiver. The sound signal of the telephone A is sampled by a codec CODEC, data A is carried by TSO and transmitted to a time switch TDJ. In TDJ, the data is written to a 0-address according to the number of TS. Written speech data are sent out to receiving high way R-HIGHWAY side. In this case, the two speech memories M1, M3 and the two holding memories M2, M4 are made one set respectively, and writing and reading are performed alternately. Speed-up can be realized by this way. |
