PURPOSE:To perform communication from each facsimile terminal as if one-to- one communication were carried out and to perform general multiple address communication from plural terminals, by incorporating a general multiple address device in a private telephone exchange. CONSTITUTION:The line-link side terminals 1-(n) of a general multiple address trunk 3 and one trunk-side terminal are connected to the private telephone exchange 1. When a facsimile terminal 2a originates to send out a selection signal for selecting the general multiple address trunk 3 in this state, a switched and connected originating register 41 is connected to the trunk side of the general multiple address trunk 3 through the switching operation of the exchange 1. Then, indication information on a general multiple address transmission destination from the terminal 2a is referenced to send the destination selection signal of the general multiple address transmission destination to originating registers 41-4n while store a facsimile communication statement. Then, the general multiple address trunk 3 sends out a destination selection number from an outgoing trunk 5 or local trunk 6 to send the communication statement to the opposite facsimile terminals 7a and 7b. |
