PURPOSE:To eliminate a sudden change of process line and prevent the influence upon interelectrode pressure difference of a fuel cell by draining off the waste water from a steam separator and a reserve tank. CONSTITUTION:The excess eater from a steam separator 4 is poured into reserve tanks 10, 11 through a drainage valve 5a and pressure loss portion 20, but the pressure of space 9a inside steam separator 4 can not be changed suddenly due to the pressure loss portion 20. Also the eater within reserve tanks 10, 11 is mixed with scattered component material of fuel cell 6, but the drainage from steam separator 4 is effective for diluting the concentration of this mixed water. Furthermore,as the waste gas from fuel cell 6 comes through the generated water inside reserve tanks 10, 11, this system has an effect that the electrolyte can be neutralized and so the waste gas includes no electrolyte. And if the water level of reserve tanks 10, 11 exceeds a certain value, the excess water is drained off via drainage valve 5b that is controlled by level meter and pressure loss portion 22, or drainage valve 5c and pressure loss portion 23 respectively. Subsequently, the sudden change of pressure within reserve tanks 10, 11 can be prevented and the influence upon interelectrode pressure difference can be minimized. |
