PURPOSE:To obtain a player of monaural reproduction whose level is not lowered even when a frequency is higher by providing a latch circuit latching a left channel signal or a right channel signal in an output of a reproducing device and a mean value circuit obtaining a mean value between a reproducing device output and a latch circuit output. CONSTITUTION:A signal processing circuit 23 processes a pickup output and outputs a digital music signal of both right/left channels. Since the signal sample for both right/left channels at the same time is recorded in time division in the music signal recorded on a digital audio disk, the signal processing circuit gives an output where right/left signals are deviated by 1/2 sample time. The advanced signal in the right/left signals is latched by the latch circuit 24. The mean value circuit 25 averages a signal latched by the latch circuit 24 and the delayed other channel signal and the output signal has no level change depending on high/low frequency. Thus, the player having a flat output frequency - output level characteristic is obtained. |
