Reinforced medical-surgical tubes and hoses are made by first extruding a flexible hose, cooling it, then winding a filament helical winding about the cooled hose, extruding an outer layer of flexible material on the helical winding and the base hose, cutting the resulting laminated hose into pieces and forming filament-free ends on the cut pieces. The method makes it possible to produce reinforced medical-surgical tubes and hoses at less cost and with greater uniformity than heretofore, so that they can be used as disposable products. <IMAGE>
