PURPOSE:To accurately support a clutch pedal in order to eliminate incomplete clutch disconnection by providing a cover main body with a shock absorbing stopper part and also by installing therein a springly part. CONSTITUTION:A cover main body 25, which a steering column 2, penetrates is provided with a shock-absorbing stopper part 26 in a form of one body, while a springy member 30 is installed inside the stopper part 26 so that a clutch pedal 14 is supported by these parts 26 and 30. This gives move accurate clutch pedal stroke than in the case where the pedal is supported by a carpet or an insulator. As a result, incomplete clutch disconnection can be eliminated and production control can be eased. |
