Case 2762 OVEN KEEP-WARM ELECTRONIC MODULE There is disclosed a control circuit for controlling the timed-bake mode and keep-warm mode of operation for an electric oven. The control circuit comprises a first pulse shaper and flip flop which produces a first control signal in response to the timed-bake mode of operation being selected. This first control signal causes first and second gates to respectively inhibit operation of first and second heating elements within the oven. A second pulse shaper and flip flop are provided which upon the commencement of the operation of the timer of the oven at a preselected time, generate a second control signal to the first gate and generate a third control signal to the second gate. Generation of both the second and third control signals causes the second and first gates to respectively enable their first and second heating elements. At this instance, the oven is operating in its timed-bake mode of operation. Upon the expiry of the timer, the second signal ceases to control the operation of the first gate and as a result the first gate inhibits the operation of the first heating means. Thus, after the timer shuts down, only the second gate will continue to allow the second heating element to operate and hence the oven will be in its keep-warm mode of operation. This novel electronic oven control circuit has advantage in that it is readily adapted for connection with "off the shelf" timers.
