PURPOSE:In a circulating transship method for enabling first-in and first-out in case of storing and taking out articles in and from stakced containers, to automatically conduct the above transship operation by cooperation of a lifter capable of moving up and down and pivotal clamp arms. CONSTITUTION:After stakced containers 3 are lifted up to an operation position V by a lifter 31, clamp arms 6, 7 are turned to chain-line positions, and a hooking piece of the upper end of each arm 6, 7 is engaged with the collar portion of the uppermost container 31. Subsequently, the clamp arms 6, 7 are turned to the initial positions to transfer the container 31 to a work position L, so that articles are stored in the container 31. Meanwhile, the remaining containers 3 are lifted to the upper position U by the lifter 31, and a stopper 38 is engaged with the collar portion of the lowermost container 35 to an hooked. After the lifter 31 is lowered, the worked container 31 is returned to the position V and the remaining containers 3 are placed on the container 3. After that, an operation for a container 32 is conducted in the same manner. |
