PURPOSE:To inspect a printed circuit board at a high speed and with high accuracy, by processing an output signal of a television camera, and comparing it with a reference signal of a printed circuit board of a non-defective unit. CONSTITUTION:A signal 5a is a reference video signal of a television, which is generated electrically by use of a printed circuit board of a non-defective unit. When the board is brought to image pickup by a telvision camera 7 and is compared with the signal 5a of a computer 19, it becomes (a). A signal of a horizontal scanning line Li-r of the signal 5a becomes (c), a corresponding image pickup signal of the board 2 becomes (b), and when AND of both of these sigkals is taken, all outputs become L, and it is shown that no abnormality exists in the circuit pattern with respect to the scanning line Li-r. However, each signal of the signal 5a substrate 2 with respect to a horizontal scanning line Li becomes (e), (d), and when AND of both of these signals is taken, an H pulse output of (f) is obtained, it corresponds to an opened A part of the board 2, and by this pulse output, abnormality of the circuit pattern can be detected. A crack of the board 2 can also be detected in the same way. |
