PURPOSE:To obtain smooth braking by inserting frictional members of a brake into rotary disks. CONSTITUTION:A disk 1 has radial rims 7, and between these rims are cut holes fanwise, into each of which a frictional member 6 is freely inserted. A thin frictional member 18 is attached to the area other than the part that undergoes friction against the disk 1 on both or one surface of the opposite fixed plate 3 so as to prevent the generation of the sound of contact during rotation. The impact of braking is damped without being directly applied to the mating part between the disk 1 and an output shaft 2, but also applied to the fitted parts of the frictional members 6 thus distributing the braking force. Proper surface mating the disk and the fixed plate can be easily set, the abrasion dust is well removed, the braking is stabilized, and above all, replacement can be limited to only frictional members. |
