PURPOSE:To prevent an original from damaging by providing an original positioning member elastically to the picture forming device and drawing in the original from an original setting surface by the positioning member when an automatic original conveying device is used. CONSTITUTION:The original setting surface equipped with a glass plate 2 is provided on the top surface of a copying machine body 1, and the automatic original conveying device 6 which presses the original against the setting surface for holding is arranged rotatably so that a front paper surface side is opened and closed. A lever 3 supported pivotally at the position of a code 4 is provided in the copying machine body 1 at one end part of the glass plate 2; and a raised edge 3a is formed at one end part of this lever 3, and a spring 5 is fitted to the other end to energize the lever 3 clockwise all the time by the spring. Therefore, the raised edge 3a of the lever 3 projects upwardly from the end part of the glass plate 2. |
