PURPOSE:To achieve optimum fuel control in a valve which makes a needle valve automatically opened and displaced at two steps by the effect of supply pressure of fuel by making a preset pressure of the second valve opening pressure setting member variable. CONSTITUTION:When a supply pressure of fuel which is fed into an induction chamber 9 surpasses a resilient force of a coiled spring 6, a needle valve 4 may be opened. The coiled spring 6 constitues the first valve opening pressure setting member. A cylinder housing 10 is formed on a main body 3 and contains a piston member 11 as slidable. The piston and a pressure chamber 12 at the back thereof constitue the second valve opening pressure setting member. And receiving an input signal from a pressure sensor 19, a controller 20 sends an opening control signal to a solenoid valve 17 so as to maintain a pressure in the pressure chamber 12 at a preset level. Within a moving range of the needle valve 4 from a prelift B to a maximum lift A, the lift of the needle valve 4 may be arbitrarily adjusted by setting a pressure of the oil in the pressure chamber 12. |
