PURPOSE:To alleviate the corrosion of a water cooled apparatus and prolong the lifetime of ion exchange resin by a method wherein an anion exchanger, a deoxidizer, and a cation exchanger are arranged in this order in a circulation path for cooling water, and a part or all of the cooling water are made to pass. CONSTITUTION:The cooling water 2 adjusts valves 9, 10 and is driven by a pump 3, resulting in circulation by heat exchange 5 through the apparatus 1. A part of the water has only anions removed during the passage through a device 13, turns weak-alkaline by excess cations, and then passes through a device 12. In the device 12, water containing dissolved O2 has O2 removed by generating Fe(OH)2 and Fe(OH)3 by Fe which is water insoluble or water slightly soluble, next passes through a device 14, has cations such as Cu ion and Fe ion in very small amount removed, becomes cooling water of very small corrosion property, and then is carried again to the apparatus 1. For deoxidizing material, the power of Co, Cr, Ni or the alloy thereof can be used in addition to Fe. |
