PURPOSE:To read out a signal of an image of an object as two interlaced field signals, by providing the 2nd shift register between an image pickup section and a storage section. CONSTITUTION:Plural photoelectric converting cells are arranged into a matrix to constitute an image pickup section 101. A signal charge obtained in the image pickup section 101 is stored in a storage section 103. The signal charge in the storage sectin 103 is read out at the 1st horizontal transfer shift register 105. The 2nd horizontal transfer shift register 108 to read out the signal in the image pickup section 101 is provided between the image pickup section 101 and the storage section 104. Two interlaced field signals are outputted from the 1st and the 2nd horizontal transfer shift registers 105 and 108. |
