PURPOSE:To attain a magnetic core for salient-pole type rotary electric machine easy in manufacture and high in accuracy by a method wherein a narrow-width core formed of laminated iron plates having a narrow width is provided in plural number at the intermediate part, spaces on both sides of the narrow-width core serve as vent paths, and the iron plates constituting the magnetic core is fastened by a fastening collar commonly used as a short-circuiting collar. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic core is provided at plural locations of the intermediate part of laminated punched iron plates 7 in the form of T having a dove-tail part 1a at the lower end thereof with narrow-width cores each formed of laminated iron plates 7 having a narrower width than that of the T-shaped iron plates 1. Spaces on both sides of the narrow-width core serve as vent paths 6 and are aligned with vent ducts of the rotor rim. The iron plats 1, 7 constituting the magnetic core are fastened by a frame- like fastening collar 5 commonly used as a short-circuiting collar, and a reinforcing stay 11 is mounted to the upper surface of the fastening collar, the stay 11 being brought into abutment with the side face of the magnetic core. Further, the iron plates 1, 7 are formed with a hole 9 at an end core part 12 and a hole 9a at a remaining core part 13, and a rivet 8 is inserted through those holes to fasten the iron plates. |
