The locking arrangement is intended for a door (1) of a wardrobe, cupboard or desk cabinet. It comprises blocks (3,3') arranged near the top and bottom of the door and contg. vertically slidable catches spring-loaded to engage behind fillets (2,2') fixed in the door surround. - The catches are secured to vertical rods which are slidably located by screws (5,5') through slots and are coupled to respective members vertically slidable in a central block (4) in the door. A spring between these members urges the rods into their closed positions. An element movable in the block at right angles to the door surface has two inclined cam faces engaging openings in the respective members, such that depression of this element retracts the catches against the springs.
