PURPOSE:To permit power to be transmitted quietly, without any slippage, and efficiently by making the captioned apparatus into the combination structure of a belt and a chain. CONSTITUTION:A belt 1 is composed of a chain 11 and a V-block 12 and a sprocket 2 is composed of a toothed gear 13 and a pulley 14. Said V-block 12 has an inclination angle theta for the contact with the inclination on the inner surface 15 of the pulley 14, and an opening part 16 for insertion of the chain 11 is formed at the center, serving as guide. A projection part for engagement with the teeth of a toothed gear 13 is formed at the top edge, and a side surface 19 is formed into convex form owing to the bending due to engagement with the sprocket 2, and V-blocks 12 make contact with each other, and are inserted into and arranged in the chain 11 without forming any gap therebetween. |
