Top-loading washing machines with a horizontal drum often do not stop with the charqing hole of the drum properly aligned with the top loadino opening. The drum is marked with arrows on its periphery which are visible along the edge of the top loadinq opening. They indicate to the user which way to turn the drum by hand to reach the top position by the quickest route. This assists the user and saves time.
