Device for the exchange of workpieces on a machine tool. According to the invention, the device comprises a plurality of workpiece carrier pallets formed from a platform equipped with fastening means, themselves formed from jacks distributed over the surface of the platform and associated with shoes and wedges for blocking the workpieces on the pallet; the latter can be displaced from the work table of the machine tool, on which it is fastened removably, to and from an auxiliary station lateral relative to the work table of the machine tool for the purpose of exchanging the workpieces. The invention can be used for the equipment of a machine tool and makes it possible to execute the operations of removing machined workpieces and of putting in place blanks to be machined outside the work table of the machine tool. <IMAGE>
