PURPOSE:To operate stably the high-speed reproducing of a pickup, by using only the repulsive force of an electromagnetic coil to kick a stylus for both forward movement and backward movement of a pickup case. CONSTITUTION:A positive-direction pulse in the forward movement passes through a diode 11 and a coil 4, and a negative pulse in the backward movement passes through a diode 12 and a coil 3. A buffer diode 10 is provided in a signal input terminal and drives coils 3 and 4. When a pickup case 6 is moved forward, a tracking force (f) and a repulsive kick force F due to the electromagnetic coil 4 acts upon a kicker magnet 2, and the stylus is stabilized at a stable point A where F=f is obtained, and a cantilever 5 is inclined back at an angle theta and is moved forward together with the pickup case 6. When the pickup case 6 is moved backward, the coil 3 acts, and the cantilever 5 is inclined to the side of the coil 3 symmetrically and is stabilized and is moved backward together with the pickup case 6. |
