PURPOSE:To normally maintain the operation of various engine controllers, by providing in series the flame arrester blocking a back fire and the filter collecting a fine particle in blow-bye gas in a fresh air introducing path. CONSTITUTION:A flame arrester 24 blocking a back fire and a filter 20, in which an expansion chamber 21a is equipped before and after a filter element 22 and a fine particle in blow-bye gas is collected, are provided in series in a fresh air introducing path 18. The blow-bye gas in a crank case 1 is allowed to flow into a rocker cover 11 and reversely flow in an intake passage 10 through the fresh air introducing path 18 and mixed in intake air. Here a combustion product or carbon powder and lubricating oil in the blow-bye gas are separated to be removed by the filter element 22. In such way, blocking of a negative pressure take off port of various engine controllers and improper operation of an intake throttle valve can be prevented. |
