PURPOSE:To input immediately a classification code of a film cassette to a control part by only loading the film cassette, by providing plural detecting parts on the film cassette, encoding a classification of the film cassette in accordance with whether a detecting structure exists or not, and also providing a detecting mechanism for detecting each detecting structure on a film cassette loading part. CONSTITUTION:A classification of a film cassette 40 is encoded by a combination of whether a detecting structure 40a exists in detecting parts (a)-(e) or not. That is to say, whether the detecting structure 40a exists in one detecting part [for instance, (a)] or not, or whether the detecting structure 40a is broken off and becomes a recessed part 40b or not is discriminated in two ways. When the film cassette 40 is loaded in a film cassette loading part A of a camera unit 6, a leaf switch 51 corresponding to the detecting part where the detecting structure 40a exists becomes on, and the leaf switch 51 corresponding to the detecting part which becomes the recessed part 40b becomes off. |
