PURPOSE:To facilitate the conversion of pole number by varying the coil inserting angle between main coil and auxiliary coil and setting the connection to parallel connection at the two pole time, to series connection at the four pole time, and arbitrarily setting the torque ratio at the four and two pole times. CONSTITUTION:The first and second main coils 3A, 3B are opposed, and the first and second auxiliary coils 4A, 4B are opposed. At two pole connection time, terminals A, B, D are connected at the power source side, the terminals A, C, E are shortcircuited so that the phase difference between the main coil and the auxiliary coil becomes open at 90-135 deg. of electric angle, and the terminals A, C, E are connected at the power source side at the four pole connection time, the terminals B, D are opened so that the phase difference becomes 180- 90 deg. of the electric angle. |
