INSTALLATION STRUCTURE OF RETRACTOR OF SEAT BELT FOR AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE:To enlarge the habitable space in a car room by forming a recessed part on the inner panel of a car body side and a retractor frame base is secured on the inner panel by incorporating the drum part of a retractor within the recessed part. CONSTITUTION:A retractor receptacle recessed part 7 protruding within a closed cross section part 3 between an inner panel 1 and an outer panel 2 is formed on the inner panel 1 of a car body side. The drum part 4a of a retractor 4 is incorporated within the recessed part 7, a retractor frame base 4c is secured on the fringe of the opening of the recessed part 7 of the inner panel by a bolt 5 and the recessed part 7 is blocked. An entrance 4e of a belt is formed on the retractor frame base 4c and a belt 4b is pulled out from the entrance 4c.
