A device for the dry cross-linking of cables or the like in which, after application of the insulating material, the cable is moved by a feed device through a plurality of heating zones, which can be heated by separate heat sources and are formed in a longitudinal tubular atmosphere, filled with inert gas, and the temperature in the heating zones can be varied by means of a control arrangement, a temperature measuring device being assigned to at least one heating zone which measures the surface temperature of the cable, and the control arrangement contains a regulator which varies the heat supply to the heating zone when the surface temperature deviates from a predetermined nominal temperature. <IMAGE> |
