The lamp has a light source (3) for at least approximately colourless light and two filters (7, 5) which are arranged behind one another between the light source (3) and the outside of the lamp. The filters (7, 5) are each coloured in a non-saturated colour which is complementary to a standard colour for the lamp by means of additive synthesis. Provided between the filter (7) next to the light source (3) and the outside of the lamp are discontinuous and uniformly arranged means (18, 14, 20) which reflect outwards with a saturated colour which is the same as or approaches that of the filter (5) furthest from the light source (3). Application in the production of signal lamps for motor vehicles.
