PURPOSE:To provide an electronic time piece with a function of automatically correcting variation in the clock rate by determining a new adjustment value of clock rate from the adjustment value of the clock rate in the time adjustment, the time interval between the adjusted time and the current time and the current time adjustment value. CONSTITUTION:A time interval 102 is determined with a subtractor 6 in the difference between the contents of time adjustment data and hour register 5 and the current data and hour in a data and hour register 2. On the other hand, the regular time 103 to be set to is determined with an arithmetic unit 7 from the contents of the data and hour register 2. A difference is determined with a subtractor 8 between the regular time 103 to be set to and the data and hour in the date and hour register 2 to be obtained as time correction value 104. Then, the current adjustment value of the clock rate 105 is determined with divider 9 from the value of the time interval 102 and the time correction value 104 and based on the current clock rate adjustment value 105 and the contents of a clock rate adjustment value register 4, a subsequent clock rate adjustment value 106 is obtained with an adder 10 and memorized into the clock rate adjustment value register 4. |
