At least one object is pressed between packaging layers using a mechanical press. Air is pressed out of the object, reducing its vol. Air is sucked out of a pocket formed by the packing layers and the object. - A pocket aperture is maintained closed to prevent ingress of air whilst suction components are being applied. After complete air removal, the pocket opening is permanently and hermetically sealed. |
