<p>PURPOSE:To attain a coil bobbin having a high heat conduction, excellent heat resistance, large rigidity and being hardly subject to mechanical deformation, by forming an insulating layer such as beryllium oxide on a metallic thin plate of beryllium or taking it as the major component. CONSTITUTION:The voice coil bobbin 7 is formed by providing the insulating layers 5A, 5A on both front and rear sides of the metallic thin plate finished into a desired thickness with the cold rolling process after super-rapid quench of the metal of beryllium or taking it as the major component by means of the molten body super-rapid quench method. Since the insulation layers 5A, 5A of the beryllium oxide is provided in this way, even if the heat dissipation from the voice coil 15 is increased proportional to the square of a current, the thermal conduction is increased and the heat resistance is improved. Further, the bobbin is formed with the metallic thin plate 5 of beryllium or taking it as the major component, the high ridigity and firm construction not causing mechanical stress are attained.</p> |
