PURPOSE:To provide the titled printer which enables the saving of energy in an excitation circuit for driving a wire composing a dot while a power unit is miniaturized by inclining the vertical row of the wires to the vertical line of the printing surface with a specified circuit structure. CONSTITUTION:Solenoids SD1-SD8 for driving wires W1-W8 are connected in parallel to a power source circuit in such a manner as to be changed over with an electronic switch at a specified timing. The power source circuit is made up of a capacitor C and a resistor R with one end thereof connected to the power source E and they are connected to the solenoids SD1-SD9 through reverse current blocking diodes D1-D8. A clock pulse is used as control signal of an analog switch ASw to charge the solenoids SD1-SD8 sequentially. The vertical row of the wires W1-W8 are inclined to the vertical line of the printing surface and charged sequentially moving a print head. |
