PURPOSE:To obtain the irregular shaped gasket which is pretty, good and matched with the purpose shape simply and certainly without causing a secondary deformation, by forming a foaming material sheet placed between the molding jigs using a supersonic wave. CONSTITUTION:E.g., a foaming material sheet 6 is placed on a mold 5 and put between the inner face of the mold 5 and an oscillating die 4, at the same time the foaming material sheet 6 is heat formed by oscillating a ultrasonic wave instantaneously from the oscillating die 4, then an oscillation is stopped, the sheet is cooled rapidly, being held between the die, etc. and an irregular shaped gasket 7 is obtained. As the foaming material sheet one foamed by an air is preferable for an excellent formability. |
