PURPOSE:To obtain a device small, light weighed, excellent in workability, and free from maintaining operations such as an adjustment of rope balancing, by making a hydraulic cylinder serve as a handle too, and providing a rope specially, in a caulking device of winding a rope around a cable cap. CONSTITUTION:A frame body 100 having an opening, through which a cable cap is easily inserted, is connected to a piston rod of a cylinder mechanism 200 having a cylinder 210 which forms a handle part H. A sliding piece 150 with a guide groove 151 is provided to the position placed oppositely to said connecting position of the body 100 through the opening. A steel wire rope W, both ends of which are respectively fixed to one part and to another part of the cylinder 210, is stretched around the groove 151 so as to wind around the cap M by >=1 turn before it reaches the piece 150. At the time of operation, when an operator engages a loop of the rope W with the caulking position of the cap M of the tip of cable by holding a handle part H, and moves the body 100 away by actuating the mechanism 200, the loop of the rope W is contacted and the cap M is caulked. |
