PURPOSE:To keep the surface of a reflector plate always clean, by using a reflector plate made of an opaque ceramic material and having a heater attached integrally to the same, and thereby burning out substances produced by heating and attached to the reflector plate. CONSTITUTION:Infrared rays 5 passed through an opening 7 of a heating chamber travel straight to a reflector plate 13 and are reflected off to an infrared-ray detector 9. The reflector plate 13 is made of a sintered alumina which is white in its outer appearance and has a high heat resistance and shock resistance. However, it is also possible to use other inorganic materials which reflect infrared rays effectively. Further, a resistance heater 14 is formed in patterns at one surface of the reflector plate 13 and fixed thereto by way of baking. Therefore, the surface of the reflector plate 13 can be always kept clean. |
