PURPOSE:To simply construct an unit type underground building having excellent strength in a short time by a method in which steel bars are thrust into hollow sheated tubes provided to a floor slab, walls and a roofing slab and a tension is given to the steel bars. CONSTITUTION:An underground building consists of two units 2A and 2B each of which is provided with a floor slab 3, a walls 4 and a roofing slab 5. Hollow sheathed tubes 6 are almost horizontally buried in the floor slab 3, the walls 4 and the roofing slab 5, and both ends of the sheathed tubes 6 are opened on the outsides of the floor slab 3, the walls 4 and the roofing slab 5. Each axis of the sheathed tubes 6 in the units 2A and 2B is matched, steel bars 12 are thrust into the sheathed tubes 6, nuts 13 are attached to both ends of the steel bars 12, and the steel bars 12 are tensed toward the opposite directions by the nuts 13 in such a way as to generate a tension, and thereby two units 2A and 2B are integrally combined with each other. |
