<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the inspection and maintenance of the connecting section of the heat medium flow passages by a method wherein in the title structure assembled with vertical and horizontal hollow members incorporating the heat medium flow passages therein, the wall of one of the hollow members and the heat medium passage in the other hollow member are connected by auxiliary connecting members and a connecting pipe and an opening attached with a cover is formed in the connecting section of the other hollow member. CONSTITUTION:The tubular auxiliary connecting members 7 are removably attached to the wall of the heat medium passage 4 in the vertical hollow member 2 and to the heat medium flow passage 4 in the horizontal hollow member 3 opposing the abovementioned wall through sealing materials 9 and the connecting pipe 8 is fixed between the auxiliary connecting members 7 with union nuts 10 to thereby complete a connecting device 6. Further, the opening attached with the cover (not shown) and facing outwardly of the surface of a unit curtain wall is provided in the horizontal hollow member 3 in which the connecting device 6 is arranged. Thus, with the above structure, the connecting device 6 becomes easy of access from the opening and it is possible to inspect, repair and displace the connecting members freely and easily.</p> |
