PURPOSE:To form an image high in resolution and density, low in fog, and superior in storage stability by forming at least one photosensitive layer on a support having antihalation function. CONSTITUTION:At least one photosensitive layer composed of at least silver halide, a dye donor, and when needed, a reducing agent and a binder is formed on the support having antihalation function. When the photosensitive layer is not colored with the dye donor, a coupler capable of reacting with a developing agent can be enumerated as the example of the dye donor. When the layer is colored, it is necessary that at least one of the photosensitive layers is a red-sensitive layer, and the support has the antihalation function if the photosensitive layer contains no infrared absorbing dye, thus permitting the obtained image to be high in sharpness, resolution, and density, low in fog, and superior in storage stability. |
