PURPOSE:To obtain a scanning reader of simple structure free of noise and vibration by holding a storage type fluorescent material sheet which has a magnetic material layer on the reverse surface around the circumferential surface of a drum by magnetic force, and scanning an exposure light beam. CONSTITUTION:The fluorescent material sheet 4 has the magnetic material layer 4a and storage type fluorescent material layer 4b, and an X-rays transmitting image of a subject is stored and recorded in the layer 4b. A magnet 3 is a ferromagnetic material layer laminated around the circumferential surface of a cylindrical drum 2 with either a permanent magnet or a electromagnet. The sheet 4 is attracted to the surface of the magnet 3 around the circumferential surface of the drum 2 by magnetic force and while a special clamping means or fixing means by attraction is unnecessary, a photoelectric detector 8 is rranged closely to the sheet surface. Then, the drum 2 is rotated at a high speed to stablize the speed in a main scanning direction A, and a subscan is made only by moving a light source 6 and a lens 7 at a low speed relatively to the drum 2, so the structure of a scanning system is simplified. |
