PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of waving deformation on roof panel's overlapped surfaces of a rear fender, by improving the connection of every related member ever so high, in case of a connection structure between a roof panel and a rear pillar for van-type cars. CONSTITUTION:Inside a rear pillar consisting of a rear fender 2 and a rear pillar inner 3, there is provided with a rear pillar upper 4 for reinforcement. In this case, the rear pillar upper 4 is extended upward in coming off the overlapped part between the rear fender 2 and a roof panel 6, and this extended part 4a is welded to a roof side rail outer 5 together with the rear fender 2. And, the roof panel 6 is overlapped with the rear fender 2 while a terminal end of the roof panel 6 and the rear fender 2 are welded together by means of brazing 7. If doing like this, not only deformation is never produced at the overlapped part between the rear fender 2 and the roof panel 6 but also the brazing 7 can be uniformly carried out. |
