<p>In order to integrate a washing machine into a furniture assembly, for example in a kitchen or bathroom, such that the machine falls in with the line and style characteristics of the surrounding furniture, the front part of the washing machine comprises a control panel 6 having a lower portion 7 which is adjustable in height so as to be level with the drawers of the adjacent pieces of furniture. Also a recessed base 9 is adjustable in depth so as to be level with recessed bases of adjacent pieces of furniture and door attachment means in the form of hinges 14 and a fastening 17 is provided for the mounting of a door-forming panel 24 whose dimensions, material and finishing are selected so as to match the door panels of the adjacent pieces of furniture. <IMAGE></p> |
