Provided in a casting mould (30) are a number of shaped parts (32) corresponding to the number of the contact pins and into which the contact pins (6) are pressed in a manner forming a seal either solely by the pressure of the plastic material flowing into the casting mould, or in addition by a press-on means belonging to the casting mould. For this purpose, the shaped parts and the contact pins (6) each have a complementarily configured section (35, 35a) for achieving the sealing effect. The shaped parts are configured in the entry region of the contact pins so as to produce on the finished connector socket (1) a surface configuration which has the effect of increasing the creepage current path. <IMAGE> |
