PURPOSE:To prevent an equipment from damage due to low temperature brittleness or a thermal shock without causing the decrease of generating efficiency, by detecting outlet gas temperature of a gas sealing device and preheating gas to be regulated to a gas temperature approximate to the temperature of the outside air or the equipment with hot water or steam. CONSTITUTION:At a stop of operation, to prevent oxidation of each equipment of boiler, turbine, etc. and pipes nitrogen gas is sealed. Liquefied nitrogen from a low temperature vacuum het insulating tank 15 is gasified in an air temperature vaporizing device 17 to flow into a gas preheating 19 and preheated by hot water from a drain tank 13, and pressure of the gas is reduced by a pressure regulator valve 20, then the gas is supplied to each equipment through a boiler side feed gas pipe 22 and a turbine side feed gas pipe 24. Temperature of this gas is detected by a temperature detector 28 and compared by a temperature difference decision device 29 with signals of each metal temperature detector 26, 27 in boiler and turbine sides, and a warm water valve 30 is opened when a temperature difference is above the preset value or gas temperature is below the preset value. |
