PURPOSE:To obtain the entitled receptor high in sensitivity, small in residual potential, and superior in durability, by forming a photosensitive layer contg. a specified bisazo compd. on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer 4 formed on a conductive substrate 1 is made of a laminate of a carrier transfer layer 3 made mainly of a carrier transfer substance, and a carrier generating layer 2 made mainly of a bisazo compd. having formula I in which X is H, cyano, or halogen; R1 is H, alkyl, alkoxy, halogen, or trifluoromethyl; A is one of formulae II-V; Y is optionally substd. carbamoyl or sulfamoyl; Z is an atomic group needed to form an optionally substd. carbon ring or hetero aromatic ring; A' is optionally substd. aryl or alkyl, or the like; and R3, R4 are each optionally substd. alkyl or aryl or the like. |
