PURPOSE:To facilitate connection of terminal and to reduce a number of connection parts, by forming at least one of the substrates of a liqid crystal display panel having a terminal part with a plastic film, arranging a conductive material on each terminal, and a hot-melt insulating adhesive between each terminal. CONSTITUTION:A plastic film of a phenoxy resin or the like is used for at least one substrate 2 of both substrates 2, 3 of the liquid crystal panel 1, the former 2 having a terminal part 4 provided with terminals 5. The terminals 5 are constituted of transparent electrodes, and conductive parts 6 are formed by coating the terminals 5 with a conductive coating material contg. cispersed graphite powder or the like. Then, each part between the terminals 5 is insulated by coating it with a hot-melt adhesive 7 by the screen printing or the like. The terminal part of a substrate having external circuits is overlaid on the terminal part 4 of the liquid crystal panel 1 and joined with the hot-melt adhesive, thus permitting reduction of a number of parts, formation of thin and small joints without using conductive rubber or the like, and easy connection. |
