PURPOSE:To enable braking immediately upon abnormal rotary displacement of truck, by providing a check valve between the flow-in port coupled to the brake pipe and the discharge port while opening/closing the check valve through a detecting lever and self holding the check valve in open state. CONSTITUTION:Upon abnormal rotary displacement of truck due to derailment, the detection lever 7 is rolled by the foot chip at the truck side. Consequently a check valve 4 will incline to open. Thereby the fluid in the brake tube is discharged through a flow-in port (a), chamber (b) around a valve seat 3, space between the check valve 4 and valve seat 3, discharge port (d) and the opening (e) at the tip of a dust-proof cover 23 to function the brake immediately. The chip 6 is removed from the lower end of the reset shaft 11 through inclination of the check valve 4 and the lower end of the reset shaft 11 energized by the spring 13 will press the inclined face of the check valve 4, thus to hold the check valve in open state. It is released by lifting the reset shaft 11. |
