A connection element for an interconnection bar according to the invention includes a central U-shaped part whose first arm 2 is such that it enables an electrical contact to be made, the two arms 2, 3 of the U being separated by a distance such that, when the connection element is positioned on an interconnection bar, it is held in position and that an electrical contact is made. The element also includes a conducting pin 7 in electrical contact with the arm 2 and intended for mounting the connection element to a circuit. The other arm 3 of the U may be electrically insulated. An interconnection system according to the invention includes connection elements mounted on a circuit and supporting the interconnection bar.
