PURPOSE:To provide a heat-storage material capable of varying an operating temp. range arbitrarily by the amt. of potassium thiocyanate to be added, by adding potassium thiocyanate to pentaerythritol. CONSTITUTION:Potassium thiocyanate is added to pentaerythritol to yield a heat-storage material. Addn. of potassium thiocyanate can increase the difference of operating temp. and decomposition temp. of pentaerythritol useful for heat- strage material at moderate and high temp. and provides an arbitrarily variable operating temp. range by the amt. thereof to be added. |
