PURPOSE:To reduce loss in the sensitivity and the noise by connecting two pyroelectrics plates mounted on a substrate electrically in series or in parallel. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 7 and 8 are formed on the surface and back of pyroelectrics plates 5 and 6 separately polarized in such a manner as to be shifted to one side while face each other and a leader electrode 9 is formed on the surface while leader electrodes 10 and 11 on the back respectively. The electrodes 10 and 11 face connection/space electrodes 13 and 14 on a substrate 12. The electrode 9 is placed opposite through-hole electrodes 15 and 16 and fixed with a conductive paste interposed between the electrodes 10 and 11 and the electrodes 13 and 14 and a conductive paste applied across the electrode 9 and the electrodes 15 and 16. This can reduce the capacity of the pyroelectrics plate when one pyroelectrics plate is used thereby enabling the miniaturization and a larger sensitivity. |
