PURPOSE:To enable to make the structure of a rotary machine compact, by employing such an arrangement that a turbine wheel and a compressor wheel are made in a unitary structure by use of an inner sleeve type bearing. CONSTITUTION:A turbine wheel 1 and a compressor wheel 2 are made in a unitary structure by coupling them together directly by means of tie bolts 12. Gas existing between a turbine and a compressor is separated by means of a labyrinth seal 10. A spherical bearing 7 for supporting the thrust load is provided on the side of the turbine while a journal bearing 6 and a spherical bearing 7' for supporting the anti-thrust load are provided on the side of the compressor. With such an arrangement, lubricating oil is carried from the inlet 8 of an oil feed port formed at one end portion of a fixed shaft 5 to the thrust bearing 7 and the journal bearing 6 via a through-hole formed in the shaft 5 and then returned to an oil circulating system from the outlet 9 of an oil discharge port. |
